Safe concentrations
      The ozone concentration to which people are allowed to be exposed is not greater than 0.2mg/m3. 
      Ozone industrial hygiene standards:

International Ozone Association.

        0.1 ppm for 10 hours exposure

USA.

        0.1 ppm for 8 hours of exposure

Germany, France, Japan.

        0.1 ppm

China.

        0.15 ppm

      ◎ Ozone leakage outside the home ozone disinfection cabinet must not exceed 0.2mg/m3 (meaning 1.5m away) and the residual concentration after one cycle of disinfection must not be greater than 0.2mg/m3. 
      Animal tests show that the starting concentration of ozone toxicity is 0.3ppm, while the concentration of ozone in the air that can be sniffed by humans is 0.02~0.04ppm. According to the test results of ozone toxicity to lung function, 1.5~2.0ppm is proposed as the upper limit of permissible ozone concentration. The Ministry of Health has set the maximum permissible concentration of ozone at 0.2mg/m3.

Air Application Concentration
      As air deodorisation and sterilisation, a low ozone concentration of 0.5ppm (1mg/m3) is required, while surface disinfection of articles (killing microorganisms and removing chemical contamination) requires an increased ozone concentration of tens of times. 
      Air application with oxygen concentration between 1mg/m3 and 10mg/m3.
      Low temperature and high humidity are good for killing, especially humidity, relative humidity is less than 45%, ozone has almost no killing effect on suspended microorganisms in the air. It is only gradually enhanced at 60% and reaches its maximum at 95%.
      ◎ Ozone disinfection of food processing plant, 0.5 ~ 1.0ppm can kill 80% of the natural bacteria in the air.
      ◎ Cold storage disinfection requires ozone concentration of 6 to 10ppm, and the bacteria killing rate is about 90% and mould killing rate is about 80% after sealing the storage for more than 24 hours after shutdown.
      ◎ During fruit storage, the available 2 to 3ppm ozone can make the growth of mould inhibited and the storage period can be doubled.

Application concentration in water
      The ozone solubility in water application is between 0.1mg/L and 10mg/L. The low value is the minimum concentration required for water disinfection and purification, the high value is the concentration that can be achieved with "ozone water disinfectant".
      The international standard for ozonation of tap water is a solubility value of 0.4mg/L, maintained for 4 minutes, i.e. a CT value of 1.6.
      The residual ozone concentration in the water is kept at 0.1-0.5mg/L for 5-10 minutes for disinfection purposes.
      Ozone water disinfection and sterilization is rapid, disinfection occurs in an instant. Once the concentration of ozone in clean water is reached, it will kill bacteria within 0.5 to 1 minute, and at a concentration of 4mg/L, the inactivation rate of hepatitis B virus is 100% within 1 minute.
      Herbold reported: at 20℃, ozone concentration in water up to 0.43mg/L can kill 100% of E. coli, and at 10℃ only 0.36mg/L can kill all.
      A- Ozone concentration of 0.25 to 38mg/L can completely inactivate hepatitis A virus (HAV) in just a few seconds or minutes.
      The ozone solubility in mineral water is 0.4 to 0.5mg/L to meet the requirements of sterilisation and quality assurance. The reasonable amount of ozone to be put in is 1.5 to 2.0mg/L.
      ◎ Bottled water treatment should be up to 0.3 ~ 0.5mg/L ozone solubility value, the requirement to put ozone should meet 1m3 water 2gO3 occurrence. According to practical experience, the concentration of ozone generation is easy to reach when it is higher than 8mg/L.
